Cate and Levi Review

I love getting and receiving One Of A Kind stuff for my children. i like that they get to own something that no other child has. They're all different! As they get older I will tell them that their Cate and Levi puppet is a one of a kind and that its special because it looks like no other child's puppet! I plan to get a second one so there will be no fighting over the pupets.

I received the moose Hand Puppet in the boy color and both the children love it! They bring it to me or my husband all the time begging us to "do it!". It's a big hit in this house and I see this as being Daily Play with the children!

I also love the other one of a kind items that Cate and Levi offer such as stuffed animals, zoo cubes, pillow pals and wall art. Check them out you and your child will love them.

What a great Easter!

We had a fantasic Easter Holiday. We started the day off going to church. The children were a little antsy but that was ok. Off to Nana and Papa's house after church where they kids had their very first easter egg hunt!

Lorelai found one egg and was done. Peyton found a few but really wasnt into the eggs. Nana had cute little baskets for them filled with books, candy and a plush animal.

I also spent two weeks shopping sales and managed to fill thier easter baskets pretty full without breaking the bank. Both children were very excited to see all the goodies the easter bunny brought!

Lorelai recieved: a barbie, a disney princess barbie, my little pony easter pony, easter plush, a white chocolate bunny, mickey mouse, light up spinning egg in pink, bubbles, playdough, and eggs filled with stickers.

Peyton revieved: little people fire truck, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, easter plush, light up spinning egg in blue, playdough, mickey mouse, balls, a white chocolate bunny, and some eggs filled with stickers.
AND thats jus what I can remember putting in there.

Now it wasnt all rosy and fun all day, after all any parent of a infant/toddler knows holidays are full excitment and your schedule flies out the window. SO my two little nap lovers didnt get a nap all day!!! So fussiness was expected and came full force!! Peyton crashed during dinner. (I'll have to get and post the pictures of him fast asleep in his dinner plate.) Poor Lorelai fell asleep in the car before we could even get everyone buckled up to go home.

To make matters worse we found out the hard way Lila bean is still allergic to eggs. She didnt even eat any just touched one and broke out in a rash head to toe.

Hand of Fate book review

Book Description
The second installment in a New York Times best-selling series featuring three professional female crime fighters. Fox News legal correspondent Lis Wiehl teams up with veteran mystery novelist April Henry for this compelling new mystery. Warning: this one’s not for the faint of heart.

Hand of Fate A Triple Threat Novel
When the host of a popular Portland, OR radio talk show is murdered, the Triple Threat Club—a federal prosecutor, an FBI agent, and a journalist—must narrow down the lengthy list of suspects who wanted him dead.
Outspoken radio talk show host Jim Fate dies tragically and dramatically when poisonous gas fills his recording booth while his show, “The Hand of Fate” is on air. In the ensuing panic, police evacuate downtown Portland, leaving FBI Special Agent Nicole Hedges trapped in a high-rise building.
Crime reporter Cassidy Shaw is the only journalist brave enough to report from the scene as chaos overtakes the streets. And federal prosecutor Allison Pierce must rescue a child separated from her family even as she escapes the danger herself.
In the days following Fate’s murder, these three colleagues and friends team up to piece together the not-so public life of Jim Fate in order to uncover the stunning truth of who killed him—and why.
You may be familiar with Lis Wiehl, who appears weekly on The O'Reilly Factor and on other FOX radio and television programs like Fox and Friends, Your World with Neil Cavuto, and Hannity, Alan Colmes, and others. And if you read closely, you may just recognize the inspiration behind Jim Fate, the controversial talk radio host featured in the novel (wink, wink).
Thomas Nelson Fiction’s mission has always been to publish the best possible stories, from the most gifted storytellers, for the widest possible audiences, always written from a Christian worldview. Some of our titles contain overt Christian messages; others, while also written from a Christian worldview, are shelved rightfully in the General Fiction section alongside other bestselling mainstream suspense and mystery writers like John Grisham or Mary Higgins Clark. Hand of Fate is one of the latter, for all readers who enjoy mystery novels in which good wins out over evil.

My Review
I received this book as part of book sneeze book reviews. This book was easy to read I started and finished it within two weeks. I really liked how the author draws you into the story. I would recommend this book to anyone, and please check out the other books in this series. I would compare it to a little bit of Dan Brown mystery with Nora Roberts romance and storytelling. There is suspense, romance, and heartbreak, a little bit of everything!
