Tommee Tippee Sippy Cup Review

Before you had a toddler, did you ever imagine how many sippy cups you would own? I mean, seriously. All the cups! And, for every cup you own there’s something that’s just not quite right about it, which is why you continue the quest for the perfect cup by buying more and more and more. We have tried just about every sippy out there and some fail miserably others do OK but I have yet to find something wrong with Tommee Tippee. The name is funny, but these cups are no joke!

Tommee Tippee, a UK based business, is the number one brand of infant and toddler feeding products in Great Britain. Tommee Tippee is known for their clever ideas, quality of their products and simply intuitive designs that promote natural development at every age and stage of your child’s life. Tommee Tippee is now available in the US as well as 44 other countries around the world.

We received a package of Stage 2 sippy cups for my son. The Tommee Tippee Explora line of BPA-free toddler drinking and feeding products were designed to take your child from their firsts sips and nibbles to being self-sufficient by easing transitions along the way, while helping to reduce stress and mess at mealtime.

I’m so excited that I have finally found a sippy cup that works. The advance-flo™ valve used in Explora sippy cups was designed by a physicist and requires almost no force to drink from, but it still remains spill-proof and leak-proof. I put different types of liquid in the sippy cup and didn’t have a problem at all.

I also like that you can purchase different stages that allow easy transitions from one cup to the other as your children get older. Not only does Tommee Tippee have exceptional sippy cups, they have a full line of infant and toddler feeding and drinking products. I plan to purchase the stage 3 cups for Lorelai soon.

StickerYou Review and Giveaway - CLOSED

DIY Stickers!!! Well, actually, they are better than DIY stickers. You design them (or personalize the stickers) then StickerYou prints them out on reusable vinyl. You can stick them, unstick them, and re-stick them over and over without ruining the wall/car/book/bottle/etc.
The uses are ENDLESS!! There are tons of suggestions on their idea page!

How do you create stickers (there is a demo so have no fear!):
You click on StickerMaker, select a theme, drag stickers you want to your workspace, upload your own images if you desire, edit the size, color, and rotation of images, add text if you wish and save the page. The editor can be really clumbsy at times, but it is manageable. There are tons of images to choose from for most occasions. You can easily repeat things if you want many of one image (there is an autofill application).
How do you apply/remove them:

What they offer-
• Great, vivid colors when printed
• Die cut around shapes (great for company logos)
• Reusable
• Price under $7 per 8.5 x 10.5 sheet (prices decreases with the number of pages you order)
• Sun and water resistant (you can even make bumper stickers!)
• 1-100 stickers per sheet depending on size and shape of stickers
• Great images exist AND the ability to upload your own images
• Ability to edit the colors of many existing images

I made 2 sheets of Hannah Montana stickers for my Hanna Fan and a sheet of I love you stickers for myself. They are so cute I decorated my laptop with them and Lila put hers on a few sippy cups and toy box.

Overall, I really love StickerYou stickers. The quality is great. They have not left any marks in places that I have tried them and then removed them. I love that because with our move coming up I don’t want to leave behind anything we will have to scrape off the walls before we leave.

WAT-AAH's new advertising campaign

A few months ago I wrote a review about WAT-AAH! My children and i loved how refreshing the water was and I love the idea behind their goal. Now they are back with a new campaign to get kids to drink more water!!

Did you know that the problem of childhood obesity in the US has grown considerably in recent years? Between 16 and 33 percent of children and adolescents are obese. Unhealthy weight gain due to poor diet and lack of exercise is responsible for over 300,000 deaths each year. Overweight children are much more likely to become overweight adults unless they adopt and maintain healthier patterns of eating and exercise (American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, www.aacp.org)

.. I guess you could say that childhood obesity is kind of a big deal.

"Don't Drink ____, Drink WAT-AAH!" is WAT-AAH's new advertising campaign that launched in New York City. This campaign encourages parents, teachers, and kids to fill in the blank with words such as "Soda," "Sugar," "Junk," and even "&#%+!"

As an overweight adult who is strugging everyday to make healthy changes in my life I look to my kids and hope they wont struggle like I have. Drinking water is the first step! I think that WAT-AAH! make drinking water cool, and thas cool with me! (ok thats my one and only corny pun, promise)

WAt-AAH - "we hope to get the message across that childhood obesity is a growing concern in the US and that we must first become aware of the issue before taking action."

WAT-AAH! is making everyone aware that there is an alternative to soda and other sugary drinks, all while being fun, too! Founded in New York City by Rose Cameron and her son, Jack, WAT-AAH! is the first water "cool" enough to convince kids to switch from soda and other sugary beverages that litter the marketplace. With 1 in 3 children in the US considered to be overweight or obese, WAT-AAH! has a clear mission: to reverse the established behavior and dependency on sweetened drinks among American children, thus reducing the alarmingly high rates of childhood obesity.
