My Thoughts: Ten years have past and they both cant move on from the one that got away.…. I don’t like to give the story away so you wont get any spoilers here. I will say that BJ Harvey develops these characters in a way where your heart bleeds for the couple who let someone get in-between and now years later they still cant let each other go. Samantha has been raised to believe letting any control go means your weak. Sean wants to show her how surrendering, at least in bed, isn't relinquishing control in fact it’s the opposite. She controls his heart and doesn’t even know it…
This book was a fun and fast read. Great for reading between errands or while waiting in a doctors office. If you are familiar with BJ Harvey’s Bliss series you will love reading about Samantha and Sean. And if you haven't read them like that’s ok too, as it says in the description they read like stand alone novels. I have a love/hate relationship with shorter novels. I love that I can breeze through then but I also hate how it leaves you wanting more! BJ Harvey definitely leaves you wanting to know more.
