First Juice Product Review

Have you ever noticed just how many juice brands there are? I have and I hate buying juice for my children, especially when you start reading the ingredients. I mean fruit juice should have fruit in it, but no, it usually doesn’t. That’s why I was happy to review First Juice.

First Juice is the nation’s first organic, low sugar, fruit and vegetable juice for infants and toddlers. Their mission is “To make products that can help parents positively influence children’s taste-preference development.”

I love that with this juice I don’t have to waste time diluting it with water so that its easy on my young children’s tummies. Because my family is currently low income we qualify for the national WIC (women, infants and children) program for which I’m grateful. The nutritionist there informed me that giving your children juices is actually harmful for your child. Most juice brand has way too much acidity and sugar in them which leads to tooth decay, cavities and childhood obesity! They only offer juice because it has a small amount of vitamins that most low income children lack because their parents can’t afford fresh fruit. She told me skip the juice and give them the real thing. Sometimes that’s not possible at those times I reach for first juice!

First Juice comes in four fantastic flavors:
• Apple + Carrot
• Banana + Carrot
• Blueberry + Purple Carrot
• Peach + Purple Carrot

Yes, Purple Carrots! Carrots were not originally orange. The first carrots were purple, white, red and yellow. Purple carrots contain the same antioxidants as grapes and blueberries. Adding them to the mix encourages children to eat a wide range of colorful fruits and vegetables.
Some other great features of First Juice drinks -
• Comes in a convenient 8 oz. recyclable sippy-style bottle for on-the-go (Or a 32. Oz bottle for home) Which Are Really Spill Proof!
• Includes calcium and Vitamins C and D
• Is USDA Certified Organic

BUY IT: First juice can be found at you nearest Babies R’ Us and Target or use the Store Locator and see which stores nearby you carry it! While your there sign-up for a free coupon and tell them I sent you.
